Welcome to Woodsetton Medical Centre
Our team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.
The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
We have a new Foundation Year 2 (junior doctor) at our practice now. Dr. Thushika Mahendiran is a University of Birmingham graduate. She will be here until the end of November 2019.
Sedgley, Coseley and Gornal area practices are working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments. If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.
Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.
You might see a different GP or a locum GP
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided.
This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
As of May 2015 all patients (including children) have been allocated a named accountable GP. You can still continue to see any of our GPs. If you are not aware who your accountable GP is, please ask at the reception.
Why not make join our Patient Participation Group?
We have had our CQC inspection.
